On 25th October 2022, SSS distributes SSS-Naga Scholarship among 87 students with a program in the auditorium of SSS Foundation Office, Tangail at 2.30 pm. Mr. Satoru Naga, the prominent Writer and Journalist in Japan and Mr. Mahbubul Haque Bhuiyan, Acting Executive Director and Director (HRD), SSS were present as the Chief Guests in the ceremony presided over by Mr. Md. Abdur Rouf Khan, Vice-chairman, Executive Committee, SSS.
Among others, Director (ECDP) Abdul Latif Miah, Director (Credit) Santosh Chandra Paul, a number of staff members of SSS, students and their teachers and parents were present in the event facilitated by Mr. Md. Jubayer, Project Coordinator (ECDP). Every student gets scholarship of Tk. 3,000 for the phase of January to June 2022 in the event.
Mentioned, at present SSS Scholarship Program possesses four types. Of them, SSS-Naga Scholarship jointly financed by Mr. Satoru Naga and SSS, originated since 2003 is noteworthy. This scholarship is provided two times (January-June and July-December) a year.
