Independence Day Observance

With a view to observing the Independence Day, Abdul Latif Miah, Director (ECDP) of SSS along with other officers and staffs placed wreath on the monument of Tangail Poura Udyan at 8.30 am on 26 March 2019.

Before that, officers and staffs of SSS came together at the SSS Head Office (Tangail) at 7.30 am. A rally, led by Director (ECDP) under SSS Banner reached Poura Udyan marching across Mymensingh Road, Old Bus Stand and Victoria Road ) at 8 am. At that time, officers and staffs from different departments of SSS participated in the rally.

Besides SSS, delegates of Tangail District Administration, Tangail District Police Administration, Tangail Sadar Upazila Administration, Tangail Municipality, Tangail Club, different Government and non-Government institutions, different socio-political and cultural organizations and the print and electronic media also paid their homage to the Martyrs.

Different projects and wings of SSS also arranged daylong programs to observe the day.
