SSS Hands in Scholarship to 149 Students

A total of 149 meritorious students received SSS-Naga scholarship. The scholarship giving ceremony was held in the auditorium of SSS Head Office (Tangail) at 2.30 pm on 15 March 2019.

Advocate Ataur Rahman Khan Azad, Ex-president of Tangail Press Club and District Representative of Banglavision was present as chief guest whereas Abdul Hamid Bhuiyan, Executive Director of SSS presided over the ceremony. Mr. Satoru Naga, renowned Japanese Writer and Journalist and Ms. Hideko Sugisawa of Japan spoke at the ceremony as special guests.

Director (ECDP) Abdul Latif Miah delivered welcome speech and facilitated the overall ceremony.

Among others, Biresh Chandra Paul, Principal (SSS Polytechnic Institute), Mubarak Hossain, Assistant Director (Research and Publication), Md. Jubayer, Project Coordinator (ECDP), Principals of SSS-Poura Ideal High School and SSS-Sonar Bangla Children Home, teachers and guardians of the students and officers and staffs of SSS were present at that time.

At the end of the ceremony, each of the 149 students received Tk. Three thousand cash as scholarship money for the period of January-June 2019.
