EC Member Shahjada Khan is no more

Shahjada Khan, member of the executive committee of SSS is no more. He died at 8.05 am on 14 June 2021 (Monday) at a hospital in Dhaka being suffered by COVID-19 (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihe Rajiun). He was 73.

The EC Chairperson Murshed Alam Sarker and Executive Director Abdul Hamid Bhuiyan expressed deepest grievance at his death.

Md. Shahjada Khan was born on 22 October 1947 in village Paikara of Kalihati upazila of Tangail. He was the son of Late Abdul Mannan Khan and Late Rokeya Khanam. He was appointed in Sonali Bank after completing B Com and was posted there until retirement. Later on, he served in the Audit department of a private organization in Tangail. Shahjada Khan left behind a son, four daughters and a number of well-wishers and relatives.

Shahjada Khan was buried at 4 pm on 14 June 2021 (Monday) in the central graveyard of Tangail (near the baby-taxi stand).

Md. Shahjada Khan was a respectable member of the executive and general body of SSS. The executive director of SSS Abdul Hamid Bhuiyan said in a message, we lost a beloved guardian. SSS would always remember his extraordinary contributions. Abdul Hamid Bhuiyan wished peace upon his disembodied soul and conveyed empathy to the grief-stricken family of Shahjada Khan.

During his lifetime, Shahjada Khan regularly visited SSS Foundation Office in Tangail and be informed of everything. Staffs of SSS are really grieved losing a friend like him.
