On 21 February 2025, SSS, along with people from all walks of life of Bangladesh observed the Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day, remembering the martyrs dedicated their lives for the sake of Bengali Language in 1952, with due respect and affection.
On this Occasion, the staff members of SSS brought out a rally under SSS banner at 7.30 am from SSS Foundation Office and reached central Shahid Minar of Tangail, parading across Old Bus Stand, Victoria Road and Nirala Mor and chanting the immortal song ‘Amar bhai-er rokte rangano Ekushe February, ami ki bhulite pari…’
The staff members of SSS placed wreaths at the central Shahid Minar, Tangail at 7.45 am, together with different GO-NGOs, political and socio-cultural organizations and representatives of mass media.
Different wings and institutes of SSS (SSS-Poura Ideal High School, Sonar Bangla Children Home and SSS Non-govt. Polytechnic Institute) organized daylong programs on the occasion of International Mother Language Day.
SSS also arranged a feast at lunch for the children of Sonar Bangla Children Home.
