SSS Secured 22nd ICAB National Award for Best Presented Annual Report 2021

Society for Social Service (SSS) has secured 22^nd ICAB National Award for the Best Presented Annual Report 2020-21 on 3 December 2022. The organization has been adjudged Joint Third Position under the category of Non-government Organizations (NGOs) through a proper competition based on independent evaluation of the Review Committee for Published Accounts and Reports (RCPAR) of Council-ICAB and due recommendation of the Jury Board.

On behalf of SSS, Mr. Mahbubul Haque Bhuiyan, Acting Executive Director and Director (HR and Admin) and Mr. Santosh Chandra Paul, Director (Credit) received the Trophy of the Award in an elegant ceremony held at Ball Room of Pan Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka. Among others—the representatives from government and non-government organizations, officials of Finance Ministry and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), invited guests and so on were present in the event, wherein Mr. Tipu Munshi, MP and Honorable Minister for Commerce of Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Mentioned, SSS, as a national level leading development organization, has been implementing various socioeconomic and people-friendly activities for more than 36 years, which made avail the organization reorganization and accreditation from national and international levels. Of them, prominent ones–Prime Minister’s Afforestation Award in 1996, the Best Microfinance Institution Award by Citi-Group in 2008, and the Most Innovative Microfinance Institution Award by Citi-Group in 2013 are expressly pointed out.
