Executive Director of SSS Mr. Abdul Hamid Bhuiyan says to the students and parents–there is no alternative to education to eradicate poverty and pull off prosperity. To practice time-be-fitting education and morality is the main factors of development. SSS has been implementing various development and welfare-genial activities since its inception. Of them, one is the education and child development program. SSS has always been by the underprivileged and brilliant students—with providing financial assistance for education, expensive medical treatment and other urgent needs. On the other hand, the scholarship money is small, but its consequence is great. And getting a scholarship is a matter of respect. Proper use of the small amount of scholarship money would play a crucial role for many students to reach the threshold of success. Every established person should provide financial assistance for the development of education, culture and human resources, especially–necessary to provide financial assistance to the underprivileged and meritorious students. I hope–all the students who received scholarship from SSS, after getting established, would contribute financially to the development of society and the extension of education.
The Chairman of the program, Mr. Kazi Zakerul Maula, expresses to the students–students are the future our country. After completing your studies, you would pay your services at various levels of the country. Keep into memory, with our patriotism and proper services, the country would make progress, and the nation would be enriched. For this, everyone has to be a human being and well-educated with integrity–this is our sincere expectation.
At the last stage of the ceremony, 125 students receive Tk. 3,000 (three thousand) per head and total of Tk. 3,75,000 (three lakh seventy-five thousand) as scholarships for the period: January-June 2025.
Mentioned, the scholarship is one of the multi-faceted development programs of SSS. The organization has been providing SSS-Naga Scholarship to the underprivileged and meritorious students since 2003. This scholarship is given twice a year financed by SSS and Mr. Satru Naga jointly. SSS, currently, provides four types of scholarships–SSS-Naga Scholarship, Regular (Monthly) Scholarship, One-time Scholarship and MIF (MRA)-Higher Education Scholarship.
