Observance of Bangabandhu’s 104th Birth Anniversary

SSS observed the 104th birth anniversary of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children’s Day with reverence on 17 March in the Foundation Office (Tangail), its wings, and in all of its branch offices throughout the country with diversified activities.

On this occasion, the staffs of SSS at the field level offered wreaths at the mural of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, along with representatives from different GO-NGOs, political, and socio-cultural institutions, and mass media.

Besides, the educational institutions (SSS-Poura Ideal High School, SSS-Sonar Bangla Children Home and SSS Non-Govt. Polytechnic Institute) of SSS organized discussion meetings, Dua Mahfil and drawing, recitation, essay writing competition on the occasion of Bangabandhu’s 104th birth anniversary. At the end of the competition, prizes were distributed among the winners.

Moreover, a feast with an improved diet was served as Iftaar for the children of SSS-Sonar Bangla Children Home on 17 March.

On the other hand, SSS, as the focal of Jamalpur District Coordination Committee of MFIs, led a rally on 17 March and offered wreaths at the mural of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, along with the delegates of MFIs operating in Jamalpur District.
