Like every year, SSS observed the Independence and National Day-2023 with reverence and dignity, in the SSS Foundation Office at Tangail, its wings, and all of its branch offices throughout the country with diversified programs and activities.
On this occasion, staffs of SSS offered wreaths at 8.30 am on 26 March 2023 (Sunday) at the Martyrs’ Monument in Poura Udyan of Tangail.
Before that, officers and staffs of SSS gathered together at SSS Foundation Office at 7.30 am and the national flag was hoisted there at that time.
They brought out a rally at 8 am under the SSS banner. The rally reached Poura Udyan parading across Mymensingh Road, Old Bus Stand, Victoria Road, and Nirala Point. Staffs from different sections of SSS participated in the rally at that time.
Besides, different wings of SSS also adopted daylong activities to observe the day respectfully.
SSS-Poura Ideal High School, Sonar Bangla Children Home, and SSS Non-Govt. Polytechnic Institute organized discussion meetings and cultural programs on the occasion of the Independence and National Day.
Apart from that, a debate and extempore speech competition was held on 26 March in SSS-Poura Ideal High School, along with a recitation competition in SSS-Sonar Bangla Children Home and a sports (Cricket) competition in SSS Non-Govt. Polytechnic Institute. At the end of the competitions, prizes were distributed among the winners.
Besides, a feast with an improved diet was served as Iftar for the children of SSS-Sonar Bangla Children Home on 26 March.
